VTU results 2016-17:-
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has announced 7th semester results 2017 of B.E. programme for Kalaburagi region today (May 05) in the morning.
As per reports, VTU is going to announce 7th sem results 2017 today at 9 pm. The results of rest of the semesters would also be out within a week. Expected timeline of results declaration is given below.

We have an important news to share with all the students of VTU who appeared for exam recently. According to the sources result will be delayed this time. Many believes that this is due to the recent postponement of the some of the exam held recently. Students were forced to reschedule their exam by the VTU. VTU results is expected to be delayed this time
The latest update about the results may be going to make you tense a bit. Because results are going to get delayed this time. The reason is obvious because vice chancellor justified the delay in the recent press meet.
During the press meet vice chancellor of VTU, Dr.Karisiddsppa said that VTU is going to use the government provided software this time for scanning and also importing of machines for the same is still in progress.
From past few years, answer papers were usually scanned and sent to lecturers online for a valuation from a private company known as mind logic. But this time, various unpredicted circumstances led to the outrage of students and irresponsible valuation from lecturers as well and resulted in the dismissal of 10 professors.
Student are in anger and they are giving comment on VTU officials. One student commented that,”please give the result at least by the end of this month. hopefully do not correct papers in such a way that it is certain for the students to put for re valuation”.
Latest Update on VTU Odd Sem Results 2016-17
As for regular VTU B.E. results for odd semester examinations, the declaration of the same will also start soon now. Expect results of VTU B.E/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Tech and other exams to be announced within next few days. The results declaration will wrap-up by This month-end.
VTU 3rd sem, 5th sem, and 7th sem results of B.E. regular courses will be announced within next two weeks for all four regions i.e., Belagavi (Belgaum), Mysore, Bengaluru and Kalburgi.
VTU crash course results of all semesters are expected to be out today. The even semester classes have already begun from 13th February.
Note: The official website for checking crash course results is www.vtu.ac.in and it seems that VTU is looking to move it’s results from old URL (results.vtu.ac.in) to new URL (result.vtu.ac.in).
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is a collegiate public state University in Karnataka State, India. It was established by the Government of Karnataka. It is a statutory requirement for colleges offering any program in engineering or technology in the state to be affiliated with the university.
The university is named after Sir M Vivesvaraya from Karnataka, the only engineer to be awarded a Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in India. Jnana Sangama, Belagavi is the headquarters of VTU. Additionally, the university has three regional centers in Banglore, Gulbarga and Mysore.
VTU is one of the largest universities in India with 212 colleges affiliated to it with an intake capacity of over 467,100 undergraduate students and Postgraduate students. The university encompasses technical and management fields which offers a total of 30 undergraduate and 71 postgraduate courses.The university has around 1800 PHD candidates.
The state government passed the VTU Act in 1994 which led to formation of VTU and its dedication to technical education. The VTU Act vested authority to VTU as the sole affiliating university for technical education in the state. All the colleges in the state that offered technical programs, mostly affiliated to regional state universities, were obligated to shift affiliation to VTU.
